Experience Up to 80% Reduction in Hair Growth with Alexandrite Laser

Alexandrite laser emits a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin to the hair follicle where it is absorbed and one of the most widely used hair removal lasers. Alexandrite is good for treating larger body areas with patients with light-to-olive complexion

Advantages of Alexandrite Laser Hair Removal

  • Effective on finer, thinner hairs
  • Very good skin penetration rate
  • Effective or white skin tones

Three or more treatments are usually required at each site to achieve permanent hair growth reduction. Treatments are repeated every four to eight weeks. Darker hair responds better to the laser while lighter hair (white, gray, or red) is less responsive. In your evaluation with our medical staff, the appropriate laser and treatment settings will be determined.

The percentage of hairs removed per session varies in different body locations, with areas of thin skin (for example, bikini and armpits) showing a better response than areas of thick skin (for example, the back and chin). Approximately 10-25 percent reduction in hair growth can be expected with each treatment. The hair that re-grows tend to be lighter and finer in texture.
